New Delhi, April 7: The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in New Delhi saw a Russian aircraft with 345 passengers on board make an emergency landing. The emergency landing was due to a technical fault. All the passengers in the aircraft are safe and no untoward incident has been reported in connection to the emergency landing. At least eight fire tenders were present when the aircraft landed in the airport reported news agency ANI.
According to reports, the flight- RL772, was headed to Yekaterinburg in Russia from Phu Quoc in Vietnam reported NDTV.

The flight is said to have landed at Runway No. 11 around 6 pm IST. An airport spokesperson was quoted by NDTV confirming "All the passengers are safe and all standard operating procedures were put into action during the emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport at 6:10 pm."
