Mumbai, October 21: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will conduct the Diwali Muhurat Trading session on the occasion of Diwali on November 1. The Diwali Muhurat Trading session will mark the beginning of the Hindu Calendar year Samvat 2081. Ahead of the "Muhurat Trading" session, both stock exchanges said that the symbolic trading session would be held between 6 PM and 7 PM on Friday, November 1.
When and What Time Is Diwali Muhurat Trading?
The Muhurat Trading session marks the commencement of a new Samvat. It is believed that trading during this auspicious hour, or "Muhurat", brings prosperity and financial growth to investors and traders. This year, Diwali will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31, with the special window for Muhurta Trading being held on the next day, i.e. Friday, November 1.
