Ekta Kapoor's next big project, Dil Hi Toh Hai, is one show that fans have been waiting for. Buzz that has been doing rounds is that it is inspired from Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum. The trailer of the show is already out and it is just like they promised it would be, an epic romantic drama. Though it looks like a very rich boy falls for poor girl story, fans are going to love it. The show has Karan Kundrra as the male lead and Yogita Bihani as the female lead. The show also has Poonam Dhillon, Sandeepa Dhar, Gautam Ahuja are also a part of the show.

Speaking about bagging the lead role in the Ekta Kapoor show, Karan said in a statement, "I am playing the role of a classy businessman, so the costumes designed for me have to look stylish and elegant. It’s exciting as I will be wearing around 100 blazers and suits in the show. The costume designers team has taken care of minute details while deciding Rithwik’s look and styling his outfits. Seldom in television do the makers experiment with the male actor’s appearance, but I totally appreciate the hard work invested for building my character. I am really happy with their efforts which will soon be seen on television and am positive will be appreciated by our loving audiences."
