Delhi Metro Schedule For Holi: Services to be Curtailed During Morning Hours on March 2, to Resume at 2.30 PM
The DMRC has said that metro services will not be available till 2.30 pm on all lines on March 2 on account of Holi.
New Delhi, February 28: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Wednesday announced that metro services will be curtailed on Friday i.e. on March 2, 2018 on account of Holi. Delhi Metro will not operate in the morning hours on March 2 and will start its services at 2.30 PM on account of Holi.
The DMRC has said that metro services will not be available till 2.30 pm on all lines on March 2. It further said that services will resume at 2.30 pm on all lines and will continue normally thereafter. The metro feeder bus services are not likely to be functional for the whole day on Friday.
Like every year, the Airport Express Line, that connects New Delhi Railway Station to Indira Gandhi International Airport, is also believed to start operating at 2.30 PM. It has to be noted that the Metro feeder bus services will not be available for the whole day.
To celebrate the woman passengers on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is organizing a six day Article & Slogan Writing Competition exclusively for its women commuters from 28th February – 5th March. The topic for the competition is “Share your experience: when you felt Strong, Safe and Liberated with Delhi Metro”. A senior DMRC official said the topic for the competition is “Share your experience: when you felt Strong, Safe and Liberated with Delhi Metro”.
The selected entries will be suitably awarded in a function on 8th March 2018 on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Delhi Metro’s Corporate Office at Metro Bhawan, Fire Brigade Lane, Barakhamba Road in the national capital.
