New Delhi, June 18: At least three people have been killed and five others have been injured on Monday after a gang-war broke between members of Gogi gang and Tillu gang. The shootout began on Monday morning in Delhi's Burari town. Raju, a member of Tillu gang has been shot dead after members of the two rival gangs opened fire this morning.

According to reports by Police, more than ten rounds of shots were fired in Burari's Sant Nagar.  The gangsters were travelling in a Scorpio and a Fortuner. Police said, a man and a woman, passing by the scene of the shootout, died of bullet injuries.

According to a report by NDTV, the firing took place at around 10:15 this morning. Details by Police reveals that even earlier, there have been instances of shootouts between the two gangs - Gogi gang and Tillu gang.  The report further quotes an eyewitness saying that the deadly shootout took place close to a gym in Burari area.

According to a report by DNA, Jitender alias Gogi is among the most wanted gangsters in Delhi. The report further informs that Gogi, who is absconding at present and carries a reward of Rs 4 lakh while his rival Sunil alias Tillu is in jail.

In March this year, two members of the Tillu gang and Gogi gang were arrested in connection with several murder cases across Delhi. According to details by the police, the alleged member of Gogi gang, Deepak alias Pradeep Bajana (29) resident of Haryana, and Sachin alias Ramu (30), allegedly a member of Tillu gang have been arrested by crime branch.
