Delhi, August 23: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has started the DDA Housing Scheme 2024 online registrations for over 40,000 flats in Delhi's prime locations from August 22, 2024. It is providing these economical flats under three schemes - DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024 (only for Economically Weaker Section and Low Income Group citizens), DDA General Housing Scheme 2024 and DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024.

Although the registration for the DDA Housing Scheme 2024 starts on August 22, the booking of the flats will commence only from September 10, 2024, 11 AM IST onwards. Around 414 people have already registered through an e-auction in the DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024 (which started on August 21) in the first two days itself. These three housing schemes were announced on August 6, by the Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena.

Location and Pricing of the Flats

Under the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024, around 34,177 flats are available Narela, Rohini, Siraspur, Ramgarh Colony and Loknayakpuram localities. The price of these flats range from INR 11.54 lakh for Economically Weaker Section (with an annual family income under INR 10 lakh) to INR 25.2 Lakh for Low Income Group. Under the DDA General Housing Scheme 2024, 5,531 flats from around INR 29 Lakh in Delhi's Jasola, Loknayakpuram and Narela localities. Whereas, under the DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024, 173 flats are available with a price range starting from INR 1.2 Crore in Dwarka's Sector 14, 16B and 19B. Both these schemes are open to High, Middle and even Low Income Group citizens.

Where and How To Register?

The registrations for DDA's Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024 (FCFS) will be through DDA's official site (dda.gov.in) and the flats will be offered in multiple different tranches. The first set of bookings will begin from September 10, 2024. The steps to apply are as follows:

1. Visit either of the sites- www.dda.gov.in or https://eservices.dda.org.in.

2. Create a User ID using PAN, then log in

3. Register for the scheme after paying the above mentioned deposit amount.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant to the housing must have a valid permanent account number (PAN) card. He/She must be an Indian citizen, and should have completed 18 years of age by the last date of application submission. Another economic criteria for the scheme's eligibility is that the family income of the applicant (whether joint applicant or not) should not exceed INR 10 Lakh annually, when both the families are considered separately. This income criteria is only applicated to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category and no other.
