Class 1 Student in Delhi Kidnapped From School Bus, Driver Shot Dead
The incident happened at around 7:40 am in the morning. Around 25 children were on board when the bus was stopped by the kidnappers.
New Delhi, Jan 25: A Class 1 student was abducted from a school bus in Delhi on Monday morning. The bus was reportedly stopped by the bike-borne kidnappers in north-eastern part of the city. The driver was shot dead by the abductors before kidnapping the child.
The incident happened at around 7:40 am in the morning. Around 25 children were on board when the bus was stopped by the kidnappers. The police has launched a search operation to nab the accused.
The kidnapping comes to light a day after a school bus in neighbouring Gurgaon was stoned with children on the board. The attack was carried out by the cadres of Shri Rajput Karni Sena, who were protesting against the release of controversy-ridden Bollywood film Padmaavat.
