Mumbai, May 25: The local trains of central railways are to get affected from Saturday night onwards till Sunday May 27th since a public rail foot over bridge will be dismantled . Along with local trains, several long-distance trains will also be running late. According to The Times of India news report, a central railway spokesperson said that on the harbour line, Panvel-bound trains, which leave from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from 11.59 pm to 12.40 am and from 4.32 am to 5.56 am will be cancelled. Also, trains from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.50 am to 12.03 am, and 3.51 am to 5.15 am coming towards CSTM will be cancelled. However, for commuters convenience, special train services will be operated between Panvel and Mankhurd during the block period.

The long-distance trains- Pune-CSMT-Pune Sinhgad Express, Manmad-CSMT-Manmad RajyaRani Express, Pune-CSMT-Pune Deccan Queen Express, Manmad-CSMT-Manmad Panchvati Express and Manmad-LTT-Manmad Godavari Express will be cancelled. Amritsar-CSMT Express, Sainagar Shirdi-CSMT fast passenger, Kaniyakumari-CSMT Jayanti-Janata Express, Howrah-CSMT Mail and Gondia-CSMT-Vidarbha Express will be terminated at Dadar.

Also due to the bridge work, CSMT-Madgaon Mandovi Express which usually depart at 9.05 am will leave at 7.10 am on Sunday. Likewise, CSMT-KSR Bengaluru Udyan Express will leave at 10.10 am instead of 8.05 am, the central railway spokesperson said. Additionally, many long-distance trains will arrive late in Mumbai on Sunday.
