Due to ceasefire violation across the LoC by Pakistani army all 84 schools located in 0-5 km from the LoC stretch from Sunderbani to Manjakote in Rajouri will remain closed for the next three days.

One soldier is injured in shelling by Pakistani army's unprovoked ceasefire violation across the Line of Control in Rajouri district. The Indian troops are retaliating heavily.
According to the latest updates four army personnel including one officer and three jawans were killed in Pakistan's cease fire violation and shelling in J&K's Rajouri district.

As per reports Indian troops are retaliating effectively, as heavy shelling is going on in Bhimber Gali Sector of Rajouri, J&K. In a similar instance on February 1, 71 schools were closed due to heavy shelling in Lam area of Nowshera, Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier in the day Pakistan Army initiated "unprovoked and indiscriminate" firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector, as reported by PTI. A 15-year-old girl was injured in the shelling.
A defence spokesman told the news agency that Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars around 11.10 a.m. The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively. More reports and official statement is still awaited from the Indian army on the fresh ceasefire violation by Pakistani army in Bhimber Gali Sector.
