Lucknow, December 4: With the Uttar Pradesh police claiming to arrest the main conspirator of Bulandshahr mob violence – Yogesh Raj of Bajrang Dal - All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi attacked state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and advised him to maintain law and order in the state. Calling the BJP rule as ‘Jungle Raj’, Owaisi said the ‘Gou Rakshaks’ (Cow Protectors) enjoy more protection than Muslims in the state.

Attacking the Adityanath government, Owaisi said, “If there is any humanity in Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, he should take note of the situation and stop his pointless campaigning (for BJP). People are being killed in his state and criminals are killing cops in UP.” Bulandshahr Mob Violence: ADG Anand Kumar Forms 6 SIT to Arrest Yogesh Raj, Others; Says Situation Under Control

Alleging that Gau Rakshaks get full protection in UP, the AIMIM chief said, “Gau rakshaks get full protection, and now a monster is created. This monster has been created by the government. Cow's life is more important than that of a human being; this is BJP's responsibility.”

However, senior BJP parliamentarian Subramanian Swamy defies from Owaisi’s comments. He was of the opinion that Congress is behind the violence, “This incident occurred because of some miscreants, we will find out whether they were Congressmen who are trying to give a bad name to Uttar Pradesh chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government or something else.”

Responding to Congress’s allegation of Adityanath busy in roaming while UP is burning, Swamy said, “Wasn't India burning during 1984 anti-Sikh riots? Nothing has brought us as bad a name as the genocide of 1984. What about thousands of innocent people who were put in jail without any trial during the emergency?” Bulandshahr Mob Violence: UP Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar Accuses RSS, Bajrang Dal and VHP for Riots; Points Fingers at BJP too

Now, with the political environment heating up each second, CM Adityanath called for a high-level meeting at his residence to discuss the future course of action. The state home administration department, along with ADG Anand Kumar, has been called for the meeting. Altogether, four people have been arrested, while 4-5 people have been detained in the case. Police have registered an FIR against 28 people and constituted six SIT teams to probe the matter.
