Hardoi, April 5: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker on Thursday was caught on camera slapping a radiologist at a district hospital in Hardoi. According to a tweet by ANI, the radiologist was allegedly demanding Rs 15,000 and threatening to give a patient false report.

However, the Police says that they yet to receive a complaint regarding the matter so carry out the investigation.

Earlier in the month, a BJP worker was caught on camera slapping the president of the farmers’ association at a temple in the state’s Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu. As per reports, the incident took place when the union’s leader Ayyakanu was distributing pamphlets in the Thiruchendur temple against the Centre over its policy on Genetically Modified or GM crops.

In the last month, a similar incident came into light where a Pune-based lady doctor registered a complaint against six prominent doctors and alleged that they had been harassing her for months. They had used derogatory language and demand money from her, she was quoted by DNA. "After I filed my nomination as a presidential candidate for the Obesity Surgery Society of India (OSSI), they (the six doctors) started harassing me," the lady doctor claimed.
