Bihar Shocker: 10-Year-Old Shot Dead For Plucking Mangoes

Patna, June 22: In a shocking incident, a 10-year old boy was shot dead for plucking mangoes in Bihar's Khagaria city. According to a recent tweet by ANI, the boy was shot in the head by an unidentified person. The incident took place on Thursday when the kid plucked mangoes from an orchard in Khagaria's Gogri Police Station limits.
According to details by Police, the victim's body has been sent for postmortem. Meanwhile, an investigation into the matter is underway and efforts to nab the culprit is in full swing.
In a similar incident of brutality, a Right to Information (RTI) activist was shot dead in Bihar's East Champaran district on Tuesday. According to details by the police, men on bike shot 60-year-old Rajendra Singh thrice from close range while he was returning home on a motorbike.
The RTI activists had unearthed scams in various Bihar government schemes. The attack on Singh – the fourth in the last few years – occurred near Math Banwari Chowk under Pipra Kothi police station.
