Muzaffarpur, February 24: In a heart-wrenching incident, nine students have been killed and 24 have been injured in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. As per reports, the incident took place when the vehicle rammed into a school building causing the fatalities.
The injured ones have been rushed to the nearby hospital while identities of the deceased have been not ascertained as of now. In wake of the deadly incident, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced Rs 4 Lakh each as ex-gratia to the families of the deceased.

As per details by the Police, three people were killed and seven injured in separate road accidents in Amethi district today when a truck hit their jeep near HAL Korwa Power House on the Banda-Tanda national highway. As per details by SHO (Munshiganj) VK Mishra, the deceased have been identified as Sabhajit Mishra (40) and Suresh Pandey (38). In another accident, Ajay Singh (17), a school student, was killed near Naugawan on the same national highway when his bike was hit by a jeep.
Earlier this month, six persons - including five women and a child were killed and several others injured in two separate accidents in Bihar. The incidents happened in Siwan and Begusarai districts. As per PTI reports, four persons, including three women and a child, were killed after they fell down from a railway bridge the first incident. In another incident, a man and a woman who were both in their 40s, were killed and six persons injured, when a three-wheeler collided head-on with a truck in Begusarai district, SHO Ram Swarath Paswan said.
