Assam AHSEC 12th Result 2019 Declared: Check Merit List, Pass Percentage of Class 12 Exams
AHSEC Class 12th Results: Three students - two from science stream and one from arts - have tied at top with 478 out of 500 marks.
Guwahati, May 25: The AHSEC exam results were declared by the Assam State Education board on Saturday. The scores of students appearing in all four streams - Commerce, Vocational, Arts, and Science - of Class 12th exams has been released by the Board. The merit list was also out, shortly after the declaration of results. In the Science stream, Sayan Mazumdar of Darrang College in Sonitpur and Bitupan Arandhara of Ramanujan Junior College of Nagaon have topped the exams. Both have scored 478 out of 500 marks.
In Arts stream, the exam topper is Khushboo Firdous, who studied at Brilliant Academy Junior College in Darrang district. She bagged 478 out of the total 500 marks.
Meanwhile, Ashim Sarkar with 474/500 marks has been identified as topper in Commerce stream. He studied from Vivekananda Junior College of Cachar district in Barak Valley.
About 2,42,843 candidates have appeared in the AHSEC HSC 12th board exams, out of which 1,86,187 candidates appeared under arts stream, 37,455 candidates under science stream, 18,291 candidates under commerce stream, and 910 candidates under the vocational stream have appeared in the board examinations 2019.

AHSEC has introduced a mobile application through which candidates can now check their HSLC and High Madrasa exam results. To check AHSEC 12th result 2019 for Arts, Science and Commerce through the result app, available at the Google play store, the candidates will have to pre-register their roll number.
The Assam board this year conducted the AHSEC class 12 examinations from February 12 to March 14 at 772 centres. AHSEC reportedly conducted the evaluation process at 48 zones and the result has been declared within 71 days from the completion of examination.
