Andheri Murder: Woman Stabbed to Death Near Railway Station Footover Bridge

Till now, there has been no arrests made, the suspects gave been taken for inquiry. Further investigation is underway.

Mumbai, 5th April: In a shocking incident, a woman was stabbed to death outside Andheri station in Mumbai. Reportedly, two men stabbed the victim, Annabibi Shaikh (27) on the railway footover bridge outside the Andheri station around 10 pm, on Wedneday (April 4) said Deputy Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh Dahiya.

According to ANI report, the victim after being stabbed succumbed to her injuries, and her body has been taken for postmotem. Till now, there has been no arrests made, the suspects gave been taken for inquiry. Further investigation is underway.

According to previous reports, violent crimes against women and children are on the rise in Maharashtra, showed provisional data for 2017 submitted by the criminal investigation department. The rise in crimes in Maharashtra seriously puts a big question on the law and order condition in the state. It is really shameful, that such cases continue to happen and are in fact on the rise in the financial capital of India.
