New Delhi, October 1: To mark the 86th anniversary of Air Force Day, the Indian Air Force fighter planes will display scintillating air show by various aircraft on 8th October 2018. The air show will be the hallmark of the Air Force Day Parade cum Investiture Ceremony at Air Force Station Hindan in Ghaziabad. The general area over which aircraft will be flying at low levels are Wazirpur bridge include Karwalnagar, Afjalpur, Hindan, Shamli, Jiwana, Chandinagar,  Hindan, Hapur,  Philkua, Ghaziabad and Hindan. The rehearsals for the air display will commence from Monday, i.e. 01st October 2018.

As birds pose a very serious threat to flying aircraft, especially at low levels, the Indian Air Force has requested all citizens of Delhi, Ghaziabad and its neighbourhood not to throw eatables and garbage in open as they might attract birds. To ensure the safety of the aircraft, the Indian Air Force said, if they find any carcasses/dead animals lying out in open, they must report to the nearest air force unit/police station to arrange for its disposal. Air Force Commando J P Nirala Conferred With Ashok Chakra on Republic Day.
