New Delhi, April 10: In a shocking but yet funny incident, passengers onboard a Jet Airways flight were seen swatting mosquitoes at Lucknow airport on a Sunday. As per details available, the incident took place on April 8, 2018. A Jet Airways passenger shot a video showing how inconvenience was caused to passengers onboard a Jet Airways flight.

The airlines soon after issued a statement saying that the issue has been taken up for review. "We have taken this up with our cabin appearance team for review. We sincerely regret the inconvenience", Jet Airways said.

On Monday evening, an  IndiGo airline passenger named Dr Saurabh Rai travelling in flight 6E 541 at Lucknow Airport complained of mosquitoes inside the aircraft. The passenger said that all the staff could do was to curtly ask him to take another flight to Bengaluru.

IndiGo issued a statement saying,  "The passenger was offloaded on grounds of unruly behaviour. He expressed concerns over mosquitoes on board. Before cabin crew could address his concerns he became aggressive & used the threatening language". "As matter escalated after closure of the aircraft doors, he attempted to instigate other passengers on board to damage the aircraft & used words such as ‘hijack’. Hence, keeping in mind applicable safety protocols crew apprised pilot-in-command, who decided to offload him", the airline said.
