Karan Johar's debut directorial film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai turns 20 today. Yes, it has been 20 years since the iconic film released. Feel old yet? The filmmaker invited everyone related to the film for a glamorous event. The main cast, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, were, of course, there. While reminiscing about the film, Shah Rukh revealed quite a lot. For starters, he said that he finds many scenes in the movie to be creepy today in today's time. He even said that he hated the tight T-shirts that he was made to wear. And he even said that he found the film's narration from Karan Johar to be trash. Whoa. One of the most iconic scenes of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is when Rahul (SRK) consoles a crying Anjali (Kajol) and behind her back, literally, holds Tina's (Rani) hand. The scene depicts that while he has his friend close to his heart but he would not let go of his love either. Sweet, right? Well, turns out Shah Rukh thinks this scene is very creepy. And if you remove the romanticism from it, he does have a point. Shah further laughed another scene that he thought was creepy. He said that in one scene when Kajol's saree starts flying with the wind and looks at her, which he thinks was creepy. KJo chimed in and said that scene was indeed creepy and called it objectification and wrong. Well, those were the different times and this sort of objectification was the status quo. Thankfully, Bollywood seems to have moved on.
