A Sukhoi jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed on Wednesday in Nashik district of Maharashtra.
Mumbai, Jun 27: A Sukhoi jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed on Wednesday in Nashik district of Maharashtra. Two pilots who were onboard, managed to eject safely before the crash. The pilots were seen using parachutes to leave the aircraft before it crashed. Both of them landed safely.
The crash involves Sukhoi Su-30MKI, which is a twinjet multirole air superiority fighter jet developed by Russia's Sukhoi and built by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the IAF.

The crashed Sukhoi jet was was an under-production aircraft of HAL, said Defence PRO Mumbai. Further details were awaited.
