Gurugram: Drunk Crime Branch Officer Arrested After Video of Him Dancing on Streets & Creating Ruckus Goes Viral!

Gurugram, July 31: The case of citizens causing a nuisance by drunk driving is very common, but what happens when a police officer in inebriated state parks his car on the highway, plays loud music on the stereo, and dances on the road? This is exactly what happened in Gurugram, when a crime branch officer got arrested for creating a ruckus on the streets at night, leading to serpentine traffic, and causing severe inconvenience to several commuters, according to a Mirror Now news report.
The inspector identified as Tarun Dahiya was posted as officer-in-charge of Taruru crime unit. He parked his vehicle identified as a 'Fortuner car' in the middle of the road and started dancing on the streets. Post the video of the officer dancing on the streets went viral, the Commissioner KK Rao wrote to Superintendent of Mewat, Naazneen Bhasin recommending suspension of Dahiya immediately.
According to reports, the police officer was questioned for his behaviour at night. The drunk cop continued to misbehave with the other officers, he even pulled their hair, until they reached the police station.
