Ghatkopar Chartered Plane Crash: Massive Traffic Jam at LBS Road in Mumbai, Alternate Routes Suggested

Mumbai, June 27: A chartered plane crash was reported in Sarvodaya Nagar, Ghatkopar, on Thursday afternoon in Mumbai. After the mishap, the major artillery road Lal Bahadur Shashtri Marg (LBS), where the incident occurred, witnessed a massive traffic jam. LBS is one of the major roads that connects the Western Suburban with the Central Suburban roads.
The incident has created a beeline of vehicles on the entire stretch of LBS Road. Commuters are advised to take the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) or Western Express Highway and avoid arterial routes to prevent further congestion.
Ghatkopar's Sarvodaya Nagar is a busy, congested area surrounded by commercial establishments and residential buildings.
According to reports, five people including a pedestrian are feared to have died in the mishap. Around eight fire brigade vehicles with an ambulance rushed to the spot for the rescue operation.
News reports say that the chartered plane belongs to Pan Parag Group while some reports also claim that it belongs to the Uttar Pradesh government.
