New Delhi, August 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation on Monday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who conveyed his inability to attend the G20 summit in New Delhi, which is scheduled to be held on September 9 and 10. While expressing understanding for Russia’s decision, Modi thanked Putin for Russia’s consistent support to all initiatives under India’s G20 presidency. The two leaders agreed to remain in touch.
