Fuel Rates Continue to Decrease: Petrol in Mumbai at Rs 82.94/Litre & Diesel at Rs 76.30/Litre in Chennai, Check Rates in Other Cities
Fuel prices have last increased on 16 October, and since then daily prices have either remained static or have decreased.
New Delhi, November 13: The fuel rates continue to slip, petrol rates in Mumbai are at Rs 82.94 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.13) and diesel price is at Rs 75.64 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.12), respectively. On the other hand, petrol in Delhi is at Rs 77.43 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.13) and diesel is at Rs 72.19 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.12). In Kolkata, the price of petrol is at Rs 79.36 per litre, down 0.13 paise and diesel is being sold at Rs 74.05 per litre, slips 0.12 paise. In Chennai, the petrol price is at Rs 80.42 per litre, down 0.14 paise and diesel is being sold at Rs 76.30 per litre, down 0.13 paise.

According to a Bloomberg report, International crude oil prices declined about 20 percent from their October high. Brent crude oil slipped to its lowest since early April, down more than 18 percent since reaching a four-year high at the beginning of October. Some of the states also reduced VAT following the central government's price cut which made the fuel prices go down by Rs 5 in some of the states.
