Food Poisoning Case in Maharashtra: House-Warming Party Turns Fatal, 3 Dead, Several Critical in Raigad

Post the dinner, several people complained of stomach aches, and started vomiting profusely.

Maharashtra, June 19: In a shocking case of food poisoning from Maharashtra, three children have died, five are in critical condition, and more than 30 are under treatment. According to an ANI report, it has happened as a result of people consuming dinner at a house-warming function in Raigad's Khalpur area. Reportedly, Police is investigating the matter and have registered a case of accidental death.

As per an IANS report, the incident occurred at the new home of Subhash Mane, who had organised a vaastu-shanti pooja in Mahad village, followed by the celebratory dinner on Monday night, a Raigad Police spokesman said. Post the dinner, several people complained of stomach aches, and started vomiting profusely. They were immediately rushed to the hospital.
