Flipkart Partners With ClearTax to Ease Financial Filing Processes of Sellers
With the help of the partnership with ClearTax, sellers on Flipkart will be able to connect with specialist chartered accounts, who will, in turn, help them in their accounting related services.
Chennai, July 9: In order to make it easier for the sellers to do their business smoothly, Flipkart has partnered with tax platform ClearTax. According to an Economic Times report, this will enable the sellers, mostly MSMEs to do their business online by easing their tax filing process. ClearTax will help sellers connect with specialist chartered accounts, who will, in turn, help them in their accounting related services. As per the report, this partnership will help the sellers on Flipkart to now register for GST, file returns, register their business and other services.
Nishant Gupta, head of market place at Flipkart, as quoted in the report said, "Our aim is to make selling on our platform as easy and hassle-free for sellers as possible. With this ClearTax partnership, we are helping thousands of small sellers in non-metro markets overcome a significant hurdle, so they can concentrate on scaling their businesses."
According to a Business Standard report published last month, Flipkart slashed its seller commissions and shipping fee. The move was expected to help the Bengaluru-based e-commerce company attract new sellers as well as retain the existing ones.
