Firozabad, August 27: Three days after a 17-year-old girl was attacked with acid in Firozabad district, police have finally managed to arrest her 19-year-old lesbian lover behind the crime. According to a Times of India report, the victim has got severe burn injuries on her chest, arm. The girl's condition is critical and she is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The crime took place when the minor girl was sleeping on the terrace of her house. The victim's father filed a complaint and police had initially booked the girl's male classmate under several sections of the IPC. However, on a further detailed probe, the police found out that the crime was committed by her lesbian lover, who is also the daughter of her landlord. The reason behind the attack was because the dejected lover wanted to take revenge and was infuriated when the victim wanted to end the relationship. It was a planned crime, the accused after failing to persuade her since the last two months, decided to take revenge by pouring acid on her hand, and he framed the victim's make classmate behind it.
