Fire in Mira Road Railway Station, Mumbai at the New Ticket Counter Area

Mumbai, July 3: There is news of a fire being reported in Mira Road Railway Station at the new ticket counter area. According to TV reports, there was a construction work going on, and at the moment there is huge panic situation due to the fire. The exact cause of the fire is still not known. More details on the same are awaited. Earlier in the day, there was a small fire that broke out in B wing of Trade Centre building in Kamala Mills Compound. The fire was doused immediately.

Just as people were making their way to their offices, a part of the Gokhale Bridge collapse on the tracks of Andheri Railway Station early in the morning. It has been reported that around five people are injured in it. No one is suspected to be trapped inside the debris. The services on the Western Line are affected, while the Central Railway trains are running on time.

In the last 21 hours between 8.30 am yesterday and 5.30 am today, Santa Cruz in Mumbai has recorded 97 mm of rains. According to Skymet Weather app, more rains are expected in the city today. There is severe water-logging in several parts of the city and people are facing a lot of inconvenience due to it.
