Mumbai, October 9: Fire broke out in the parking lot of R Mall in Thane on Tuesday. The mall is located on Ghobunder Road in Manpada, Thane (West). Several fire tenders were reportedly rushed to the spot, and rescue operation was underway. No casualties were reported in the incident.

Earlier this morning in a similar incident, a massive fire had broken out at a rubber factory in the Dombivli township in Maharashtra's Thane district. While no casualties were reported, the factory was gutted in the incident.
