Yadav was rushed to the district hospital in Unnao on Sunday after he complained of abdominal pain. He was reported dead on Monday under mysterious circumstances.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed anguish over his death, assuring a thorough inquiry to be conducted in the case. "The guilty will not be spared. I've spoken to the authorities and ordered them to take the strictest action against all those involved," he said.
At least two police officers and six constables were suspended after the death was reported.

Rape charge against BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar
The deceased's daughter, in her complaint, has named BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his accomplices. Sengar is the lawmaker from Bengarmau seat in Unnao district.
According to the victim, she was introduced to the MLA on June 4, 2017. Sengar, she claims, took her to various places, including Nawabganj and Farrukhabad on the pretext of getting her a job. Subsequently, he took her into "house arrest" and sexually assaulted her along with his accomplices, the complainant alleges.
While speaking to reporters on Sunday, the victim said she succeeded in escaping from the MLA's house on June 13 and approached the police. Since then, she claimed, her father and relatives have been threatened by the lawmaker's kin demanding her to retract the case.
The girl claims no action was taken by the police despite being ordered by CM Yogi, whom she met in August 2017 to present her case.
Devastated by the police inaction, she attempted to immolate herself outside the CM's residence on Sunday. However, the security officials intervened in time and saved her life.
The accused MLA, however, has dismissed the allegations being levelled against him. "I'm open to any kind of investigation. Strict action should be taken against the real culprit," he was reported as saying.
