Etah, July 18: In a shocking incident from the Etah district of Uttar Pradesh, a pregnant woman was shot dead in Sumaur village over a dispute for water. According to an ANI update, Police has been quoted as saying, "Her body has been sent for postmortem. The accused, Santosh, has been arrested." Etah Rape & Murder Case: 9-Year-Old Minor Raped & Killed While Attending a Wedding!

According to reports, the altercation happened between the victim and the accused Santosh, while they were in a line to fill water from the nearby hand pump. The fight allegedly started between their children first, and their respective parents had gone to intervene in the matter.

In a fit of rage, Santosh shot the pregnant woman and fled from the spot. However, Uttar Pradesh Police soon nabbed the culprit and took him to custody.

In April, a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Etah district on late. The victim had come to attend a wedding when she was lured by the accused man, who took her to a secluded area, raped and killed her. The minor's body was found near the area in a semi-naked condition.
