It is the season of the election in India, and hence people are gearing to witness any smear campaigns across the nation. But it appears that the election fever had just reached too far, when a school in Bangalore asked this bizarre question in its annual examination. "Who is Farmers' friend?" and the options to choose the correct answer, might as well blow your mind. Well, the options were-- BS Yeddyurappa, HD Kumaraswamy and earthworms. Obviously, the students did not had to pressurise their brain too much, as the correct answer was clear; earthworm and not Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy or State BJP chief Yeddyurappa. It was Mount Carmel English High School, located in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, whose Class 8 question paper contained these unusual options. According to media reports, the students and their parents were amused by the multiple choice question. While the students had no problems navigating the not-so-tricky question, the blunder has landed the school in trouble.

The negative attention and social media trolling have been embarrassing for the school and its students. It has been reported that a staff member, who was responsible for the goof-up, has been sacked by the management. The school further clarified that they do not support any political party. Meanwhile, the principal of the school assured that such incidents would never happen again.
