The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) that was held on April 22 will release the results today at 4:00 pm. West Bengal organized JEE 2018 for candidates seeking admissions to various undergraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture. Students who aspire to pursue the above courses will have to crack JEE to get admissions to the top government colleges, universities and self-financed institutes in the state of West Bengal. Those who sat for WBJEE 2018 can check their results after 4:00 pm from the Board’s official website; wbjeeb.nic.in.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has shared a notification on its official website about WBJEE 2018 results which reads, “The result in the form of downloadable ‘Rank Card of WBJEE-2018’ will be available from the Board’s website: www.wbjeeb.nic.in on and from 23.05.2018, 4-00 p.m.’ Quoting media reports, nearly 1.25 lakh students appeared for WBJEE this year at various centres in the state of West Bengal.
How to Download WBJEE 2018 Rank card?
1. Visit the official website of WBJEE board; wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Once declared; you will see a link flashed on the homepage that reads—WBJEE 2018 Results. Click the link.
3. It will guide you to the page where you can check your results.
4. Enter your details such as name, roll number, date of birth as given in you JEE admit card and click submit.
5. Your WBJEE scorecard will be displayed on the computer screen.
6. Click save and download your WBJEE rank card and take a print out of the same for future references.
The WBJEE 2018 exam was conducted in two shifts that comprised of 2 papers; paper 1 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and paper 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. In WBJEE, not all applicants are from the state. Many aspirants across the country sits for WBJEE to get into their desired courses. Last year, nearly 1.17 lakh students registered for the entrance exam; out of which 85 percent of them successfully cleared the exam and again 36 percent of the candidates were from other states outside West Bengal.
