UPTET 2018 Second Shift Exam Time Changed by UPBEB; Check upbasiceduboard.gov.in For Paper Pattern & Documents Needed on the Exam Day
The board has not disclosed the reason behind the postponement of the UPTET 2018 second shift timing. UPTET 2018 is to select the Primary and Junior Teachers for government schools in Uttar Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has changed the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) second shift timing. As per the new schedule which is available online at upbasiceduboard.gov.in, the UPTET 2018 for classes 6 to 8 will be held on November 18 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. However, the shift one exam time (classes 1 to 5) remains the same as set by the board, November 18 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Previously, the shift two examinations for was supposed to be conducted on the same date, but from 2:30 to 5:00 pm.
The board has not disclosed the reason behind the postponement of the UPTET 2018 second shift timing. On the day of the exam, the candidates should carry all the essential documents listed by UPBEB such as one valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.) and the hardcopy of the UPTET Admit Card 2018. Candidates must note that without the call letters, they will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall.
UPTET 2018 Exam Pattern
UPTET 2018 is an offline exam, and the candidates will have to answer 150 objective-type questions. One mark is awarded for each correct answer. The duration of the exam as decided by UPBEB is one and a half hour. The question paper for class 1 to 5 will be comprised of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (English/ Urdu/ Sanskrit), Math and Environmental Studies. Similarly, for class 6 to 8, the questions will come from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (compulsory), Language 2 (compulsory), Mathematics/ Science/ Social Studies/ Anyone for other teachers. This is not the first time, that the date of UPTET 2018 has been changed. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on November 4, but UPBEB extended the examination date by two weeks to November 18. UPTET 2018 is to select the Primary and Junior Teachers for government schools in Uttar Pradesh.
