After much wait, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has finally announced the exam date; released the schedule for Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2018. According to the notification, the UPBEB will conduct the exam on October 18. In addition, the advertisement for UPTET 2018 will be released on September 15, and the online registration is slated to begin from September 17. The board also has the plan to announce the UPTET results in record time to facilitate the written exam for the selection of Assistant Teachers in the state. It must be noted that the registration for the October TET will end on October 3. The entrance test is scheduled to take place in two sessions on October 28; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm reserved for the candidates appearing in the Primary level exam and the afternoon session begins from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, reserved for the Upper Primary level exam. UPBEB is speculated to announce the UPTET exam results on November 20. TET is now mandatory for all those candidates who are seeking teaching jobs at both primary and upper primary levels. After qualifying the exam, the candidates are eligible for five years to apply for the teaching posts. Once the registration begins, the candidates will have to apply online to appear in the exam which is comprised of objective type questions.
