UPSC Recruitment Exam 2019 Date Sheet Released at upsc.gov.in; Civil Service Prelims on June 2

UPSC has released the sheet for various civil service exams that are going to be held in the coming year. UPSC preliminary exam will be conducted on June 2, followed by mains on September 20, 2019.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the examination schedule for the recruitment drive in 2019 on its official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates who are interested in seeking civil service jobs may go through the date sheet which has been released by the commission today, September 21. According to the exam calendar, UPSC preliminary exam will be conducted on June 2, followed by mains on September 20, 2019. Apart from the civil services examination, UPSC has also listed the dates for other national level examinations—Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination for which the notification will be out on September 26, 2018, and the exam will take place on January 6, 2019. Besides, the exam and shift intimation for Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination will be released on October 31, 2018.

1. Civil Services Preliminary Examination—June 2, 2019

2. Civil Services Main Examination—June 20, 2019

3. Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination—January 6, 2019

4. CDS Examination—February 3, 2019

5. CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Examination—March 3, 2019

6. NDA and NA examination—April 21, 2019

7. IES/ ISS Examination—June 28, 2019

Every year UPSC conducts the civil services examination to recruit eligible candidates for various sectors such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central government jobs in accordance with the rules published by the Department of Personnel and Training in the Gazette of India extraordinary. The examinations which is conducted annually is based on three stages—preliminary, main and interview.
