The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2018. Aspirants who have applied for this coveted examination, can download the hall tickets from the official website of UPSC; upsc.gov.in. The admit cards were released on March 27 and is now available to download. The commission will conduct the NDA NA 2018 examination (I) on April 22, 2018. This is an entrance examination for those who aspire to get into Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 141th course and 103rd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The course is scheduled to commence from January 2, 2019.

A total of 415 vacancies were notified by UPSC on January, out of which, 208 are for Army, 60 in the Indian Navy, 92 in the Air Force and 55 in the Naval Academy (10+2 cadet entry scheme). Those who will clear the NDA NA Exam (I) will have to appear for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. Here are the steps to download UPSC NDA NA Examination (I) Admit Card 2018:

1. Visit the official website of UPSC; upsc.gov.in.

2. Under the What’s New section, you will come across the link that states—e-Admit Card: National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2018. Click the link.

3. You will be directed to a new window.

4. Click the link to download the e-admit card.

5. Read and take a print out of the important instructions. Click, the yes button.

6. A page will display with an option asking registration ID and roll number.

7. Select any of them and enter the required details. Click submit.

8. The admit card will appear on the computer screen, download and take a print out.

The candidates are recommended to check the details provided in the admit card carefully. In case of any discrepancies, you can contact the UPSC help desk department immediately. It is important to carry the admit card to get an entrance in the examination hall. The aspirants are suggested to reach the exam venue at least half an hour early to the schedule time in order to avoid the last-minute hurry. The selection for the available vacancies will be based on the performance in the written examination. Qualified candidates will have to undergo an intelligence and personality test by the SSB.
