The UPSC NDA (I) exam 2020 will be held to fill 418 vacancies. This includes 370 openings with the NDA and 48 for the Naval Academy. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the exam notification for National Defence and Naval Academy at the official website; upsconline.nic.in. According to the official notice, the online application for UPSC NDA and NA exams begins today, January 8, 2020. The commission further stated that the approximate number of vacancies, expected to be filled through this government recruitment examination. The UPSC NDA (I) exam 2020 will be held to fill 418 vacancies. This includes 370 openings with the NDA and 48 for the Naval Academy. The course is slated to begin from January 2, 2021. This time UPSC has introduced a two-stage selection process—Part I and Part II. The UPSC NDA (I) 2020 exam notification reads, “Two-stage selection procedure based on the psychological aptitude test and intelligence test have been introduced at selection centres/Air Force selection boards / Naval Selection Boards. All the candidates will be put to stage-one test on (the) first day of reporting.”
UPSC NDA, NA 2020 Important Instructions:
1. Applications can only be submitted online. The UPSC NDA and NA Examination (I) 2020 forms are available at the official website; upsconline.nic.in.
2. Candidate should provide all the required details, while filling up the online form. Mandatory fields are marked. Read the instructions carefully before filling the online forms.
3. Once submitted, no changes will be allowed in the online. Those who want to make any changes, may submit a fresh application with requisite revision by the last date for receipt of application which is January 28, 2020 (6:00 pm). In such case, your registration ID for the latest fully submitted form will be considered, and the previously submitted applications will be cancelled.
4. The online application form is available in both English and Hindi, but should only be filled in English.
5. For UPSC NDA Exam 2020 Part I registration, a candidate will have to fill basic information. Part II registration consists of filling up payment details, selection of exam centre, uploading photograph, signature, photo ID card document and declaration.
6. Note the online UPSC NDA and NA 2020 registration has begun from January 8, and continue till January 28, 2020, at 6:00 pm.
7. Scanned images should only be used in JPG format. The digital size is mentioned in the exam notification. However, the photo ID document shall be uploaded in PDF format only.
8. After successful completion of your complete application, a confirmed auto-generated email message will be sent on your registered email id. In case you do not receive, ensure that submission of Part II of the application has been made accurately.
For UPSC NDA and NA recruitment, candidates will be selected based on their performance in written exam followed by intelligence and personality test by the Services Selection Board of candidates. The written exam is scheduled to be held on April 19, 2020.
