A total of 4,051 candidates have been selected for the next stage UPSC IES mains 2019.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Indian Engineering Service (IES) prelim exam 2019. All the candidates can check the scores available on the official website; upsc.gov.in. The published shortlist candidates’ list contains the roll numbers of those who surpassed the UPSC IES prelims 2019 exam. All the selected candidates must note that they will have to next appear in the UPSC main examination to be held on June 30, 2019. The commission will eventually release the notification and issue e-admit cards for the UPSC main exam 2019 before it commences. UPSC ESE exam result 2019 is available in pdf format with the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. The prelims were held at 42 exam cities across the country. What’s Next?
Those who have been selected will begin their preparations for UPSC IES main exam 2019 which is scheduled to be held on June 30. The mains exam comprises of two conventional type papers in Engineering Discipline. Each paper will be held for three hours carrying 300 marks. UPSC is slated to release the notification along with the admit cards three weeks before the ESE main exam. Candidates who qualify the mains exam will be shortlisted for the final stage—UPSC IES Personality Test.
The qualifiers for the prelims examination will be called for the main exam, and they are supposed to fill up the detailed application form (DAF). The candidates who will submit the online DAF before the last date will be considered for UPSC IES mains exam 2019. In the DAF, candidates will have to upload the documents namely; age certificate, educational and qualification certificate, caste certificate, certificate in support of a claim for age/ fee concession (if applicable).
