The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of the Combined Medical Services (CMS) exam 2018. UPSC conducted the written examination on July 22, followed by a personality test held from November 2018 to January 2019. Candidates who have appeared in these examinations can check their final status by visiting the official website; upsc.gov.in. The list has been prepared in order of merit of the candidates who have been recommended for appointed to the vacancies for Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service and Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service. UPSC IFS Main Result 2018 Declared; Here Are the Important Points for Next Stage Personality Test. 

UPSC revealed that a total of 440 candidates had been recommended for the appointment. To check the status, the candidates can click on the result link which is activated, and a PDF with roll number of the shortlisted ones will open. What’s Next?

UPSC will appoint the selected candidates to various services according to the number of vacancies available and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the prescribed eligibility conditions and verifications. Depending on the ranks obtained and preference of posts expressed by them, the candidates will be allotted to the services. It shall be noted that the offer of appointment to the provisional candidates will not be issued until the commission verifies the original documents awaited from them. In any case, if the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents in original as required by the commission with six months, their candidature will be cancelled.

Candidates who have any doubt related to the UPSC CMS exam result 2018, may immediately visit the facilitation centre at the campus or may contact the authorities for clarifications. The mark sheets is expected to be available within fifteen days from the date of publication of result.
