The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today, on October 30 released the Combined Defence Service (CDS) 2020 exam notification. All the public service aspirants are advised to check the recruitment notice on the official website; upsc.gov.in. According to the official announcement, UPSC CDS (I) 2020 exam is scheduled to be held on February 2, 2020. The commission has announced a total of 418 job vacancies and the last date to apply for the same is November 19, 2019. UPSC CDS Exam 2020: Education Qualification

For admission to I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai, applicants should have a degree from a recognised University or equivalent institute. For Indian Naval Academy, an applicant should have a degree in engineering from a recognised university or institution. Again, for Air Force Academy, a candidate should have a degree from a recognised university with physics and mathematics in 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering. Graduates with the first choice as army, navy and air force are to submit proof of graduation or provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview. SSC CGL 2019–20 Recruitment Notification Released. 

UPSC CDS Exam 2020: How to Apply Online?

  • Visit the official website; upsc.gov.in.

  • On the homepage, you will find the UPSC CDS 2020 registration link.

  • Part I of the registration requires you to submit your basic information.

  • For Part II, fill in the payment details and choice of exam centre, upload your photo and sign.

  • Save the same and take a print out for future use.

Through the CDS recruitment examination, the commission selects candidates for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, and Officers' Training Academy, Chennai.
