UPPSC PCS Examinations 2018: Online Applications for PCS Prelims to Begin Tomorrow at uppsc.up.nic.in

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will open its online application procedure from tomorrow, July 6 for Provincial Civil Services (Prelims) examinations 2018. All the candidates who are interested to get into a public service commission must visit the official website; uppsc.up.nic.in to fill in the registration. The UPPSC shared a notification on its site which states that this year the number of vacancies for the combined state/ upper subordinate services under the general category is 831 and for Physically Handicapped it is 1. However, the last date for submitting the applications online is August 6, 2018.

On its notice, UPPSC has also released the number of posts for Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) which is 16 and for Range Forest Officer, it is 76. It further stated that these number of openings might increase or decrease in ‘exceptional circumstances’ on the request of the Government. The recent notice available online is just a brief, and the detailed one will be on July 28. Candidates between the age of 21-40 years are eligible to sit for the entrance examination and for Physically Handicapped candidates, the upper age limit is 55 years. But there is a relaxation for applicants under reserved categories as per the Government of India rules.

Another notification will be shared tomorrow as the council opens the online application process. The aspirants are advised to go through it, and if only they meet all the criteria set by UPPSC, they should fill in the forms online. This year, the last date for receipt of fee online in the bank is August 2. For each wrong answer in the UPPSC PCS prelims, the students will lose one-third mark, and from this year, the commission has introduced a new subject ‘Medical’ for the mains.
