The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) revised their Class 12 exam  2018 date sheet. The date for Physical Education Exam took the place to change from April 9 to April 13. An official stated, “Due to administrative reasons, the examination date for the physical education (subject code 048) for Class 12 exam stands revised. All other examination dates for both classes 10 and 12 remains the same”. The revised date sheet can be easily accessed in cbse.nic.in.

Class 12 candidates with their concerned guardians were unsatisfied with the previous date sheet and had constantly expressed their views on social media sites and few emailed the board requesting them for the changes that should take place. But it seems that the present change has not made much difference to the students. It created a muddle situation since the date sheet has reduced the science students time by another four days who wants to pursue medical and will sit for NEET.

The main sufferers are the Humanities students since they have no study leaves in between two major subjects to be held on April 5 and 6 of 2018. Both parents and students are of the opinion that it may discourage the candidates who will appear for the exam this year and also for them who aspires to take up the stream in the coming years.

Nearly 6 lakh aspirants including six transgender candidates who registered for Class 10 exam and about 11,86,000 with two transgender students will appear for Class 12 board exam this year.
