Lucknow, April 16: The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Sanyukt Pravesh Pariksha Parishad) Uttar Pradesh, (JEECUP), has released the admit cards on the official website- jeecup.nic.in. The candidates who have registered for the entrance test will have to download their admit cards by visiting the official website at jeecup.nic.in. Aadhaar is mandatory from this year in order to register for the exam.
The exam is conducted to gain admission into/for diploma and post diploma as well as post graduate diploma in engineering, technology and management courses in polytechnic institutions which are affiliated to Board of Technical Education (BTE).
Here are some important details regarding the exam:
1. The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
2. Students have to take one paper for each group having 100 objective type questions.
3. The duration of the test will be three hours.
4. For each correct question, four marks will be given and for wrong answers one-fourth marks will be deducted. The result of UPJEE 2018 will be declared around last week of May 2018.
Steps to Download JEECUP 2018 admit card:
1. Log on to the official website — jeecup.nic.in
2. Click on the admit card download link
3. Enter your application number, password and security pin as and when asked in the space provided.
4. After clicking on ‘Sign in’, the admit card will be displayed on screen.
5. Download the admit card and take a printout of the same for future reference.
A seat allocation process will be announced later. Candidates will be offered admission based on their choicesnand state open rank of UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2018. The candidates will be able to make their choices online regarding branch of study and institutes. Documents verification would be done at the time of seat allocation.
