The Uttar Pradesh Board is likely to declare class 10 and 12 examination result by the third week of April at upresults.nic.in. The evaluation procedure will commence from March 17 and nearly 1.46 lakh examiners will be involved in the process. Neena Srivastava, UP Board secretary was quoted in media reports saying, “Since we started the exams from February 6, therefore the results will be out early. In 40-45 days, we have plans to publish both classes result. After evaluation, we will send copies for double-checking at our regional offices.” The UP Board experts expect to release the result by the third week of April.
The board may be keen in releasing the results as soon as possible but a proper evaluation and compilation of over 50 lakh students is a challenging task. Given the extent of the resources and the far reach of the board, officials expect the results to be out by the third week of April. In 2017, UP Board results were delayed to almost a month. The UP Board has taken sufficient steps this time to control any misconduct. To ensure transparency, CCTVs at the evaluation centres will be installed. Moreover, the board will also take up security forces during the evaluation process to keep the education mafias away. Here are the steps to check your class 10 and 12 exam results:
1. Visit the official website, upresults.nic.in.
2. Class 10 students should look for the link that states UP Board High School (Class X) Examination- 2018 results.
3. Class 12 candidates should look for the link that states; UP Board Intermediate (Class XII) Examination- 2018 results.
4. Enter your roll number provided to you on the Admit Card.
5. Click submit.
6. Your result will be displayed on the computer screen.
7. You can download and print out the same for future references.
However, students will receive the original marksheet after the announcement of the result at their respective schools affiliated to UP Board. As per the official figures, over 67 lakh students registered for the UP Board examinations 2018. Out of which a total of 11,28250 candidates did not turn up for the exams. The exam authorities said the reason behind such a fall out was because of strict measures to curb malpractice. The UP Board ended its class 10 examination on February 22 and for Class 12, it concluded on March 12. The exact date for the result declaration will be announced soon.
