The National Testing Agency has declared the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2019 results.
New Delhi, December 31: The National Testing Agency or NTA has declared the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2019 results. The UGC NET December 2019 results are live on the official website of the NTA - ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The NTA conducted the UGC National Eligibility Test from December 2 to December 6, 2019, across 700 exam centres in 219 cities. This year, a total of 1034872 candidates had registered for the examination, out of whom over 793813 appeared and 60147 qualified to be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor. A total of 5092 candidates emerged eligible to apply for both Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship. How to Check UGC NET December 2019 Results:
Step 1: Log on to the official website.
Step 2: Search for UGC NET December Result 2019 link and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your registration number/roll number and password.
Step 4: Download NTA NET Result 2019 and take a printout for future use.
The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted twice a year -- July and December. As per the UGC policy, 6 percent of those candidates who appear in both the papers and obtain minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of both the papers are declared NET qualified.
