UGC NET Admit Cards 2018 Released Online by NTA; Download Hall Tickets at ntanet.nic.in
The award of JRF for Assistant Professor or eligibility for Assistant Professor solely depends on the performance of candidates in both the papers of NET in aggregate.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) released the admit cards for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018. Those who have applied successfully for the entrance exam and the candidature matches the eligibility criteria can now download the hall tickets online. From this year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the entrance exam and the students will be able to download their call letters from their official website; ntanet.nic.in. It must be noted that NTA has published the admit cards on their site. All the candidates are advised to visit the official portal to download the hall tickets and take a print out of the same for the exam. On behalf of UGC, NTA will host NET 2018 to determine the eligibility of students for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges. The award of JRF for Assistant Professor or eligibility for Assistant Professor solely depends on the performance of candidates in both the papers of NET in aggregate. NET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on December 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 in two shifts from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. The official update available online reads, “In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate including photograph and signature shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the Help Line between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between 19.11.2018 to 25.11.2018. In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make correction in the record later.”
There is a new exam pattern which has been introduced from this year. NTA will conduct the exam for two papers instead of 3. The exam results are slated to be announced on January 10, 2019.
