New Delhi, July 23: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the UGC NET 2018 exam results on July 31 at cbsenet.nic.in. Usually, the CBSE announces UGC NET exam results after three to four months from the date of the exam. However, this year the CBSE is planning to announce the results on July 31, 2018, just 23 days from the date of exam.

The UGC NET 2018 exam results will be put up on the official website of the CBSE - cbsenet.nic.in. The examination was held on July 8 for 84 subjects at 91 selected Cities of Examination spread across the country. A total of 11.48 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. 2,864 observers and 675 Board officials were deployed for the examination.

“The Board is working towards releasing the results by the end of this month, and most likely on July 31, 2018, if all goes as planned. It is confirmed that the results will be out latest by August 4, which will be within one month on the conduct of the exam,” a source was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

As per the Centre’s plans, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC NET examination from next year. So the UGC NET July examination is going to be the last National Eligibility Test conducted by the Board. According to the schedule released by the HRD Ministry, the UGC NET’s next edition will be held in December.
