TSLPRB PMT/PET Process Concludes; Final SI/Constable Exam to Begin From April 20; Check @tslprb.in

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB), Hyderabad on 8 April finally concluded the physical measurement test (PMT) and physical efficiency test (PET) which started on February 11, 2019.

Hyderabad, April 9: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB), Hyderabad on 8 April finally concluded the physical measurement test (PMT) and physical efficiency test (PET) which started on February 11, 2019. The tests were held at Yousufguda, Amberpet, Kondapur, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Sangareddy and Adilabad. The PMT/PET final reports are available on the official website of TSLPRB: tslprb.in.

The PMT/PET exams were the second stage of the recruitment process and the qualified candidates will now appear for Final Written Examination (FWE). The final exams for TSLPRB Constable and Sub Inspector (SI) jobs are scheduled from April 20 to May 19, 2019.

In PMT/PET exams a total of 2,24,741 candidates had participated and 1.71 lakh candidates qualified. "In the present PMT / PET, for the first time in the history of Police Recruitment in our State, Men and Women Candidates have been segregated and were allotted different days and as a result, substantial time-economization could be achieved due to day-wise specialization and focus on a particular set of events," reads the test report released by the Board.

A total of 18,428 vacancies are available for SI IT&C (information technology and communications), SI Civil and/or equivalent posts, PC Civil (police constable) and/or equivalent posts, ASI FPB (Finger Print Bureau), PC IT&C, PC Mechanic and PC Driver positions.

On the conclusion of PMT/PET, 54,198 candidates, including 44,226 men and 9,972 women, remain in the competition for 1,217 posts in SI Civil and similarly, 1,05,061 candidates, including 80,527 men and 24,534 women, became eligible for 16,925 vacant posts.
