The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, (BIE) has announced the Inter 1st and 2nd Year Examination results today on their official websites, tsbie.cgg.gov.in, results.cgg.gov.in. The number of students appeared for the First Year examination were 455,789 out the of which the pass percentage for Inter 1st year 2018 is 62.35 percent and like always girls have topped the Telangana Board exam with a maximum percentile of 69 percent whereas, the pass percentage of boys have been 55.66 percent. Medchal district of Telangana secured the highest number of students clearing TS Inter 1st and 2nd year examinations 2018.

On the other hand, the candidates who have appeared in Inter 2nd year is 429,398; out of which the pass percentage is 67.25 percent. Here again, Girls outperformed boys with the maximum number of percentile with 73.2 percent and the later with 61 percent. This year, the board has taken several steps to make exam results easily accessible to all its students. However, many students complained and took to Twitter as the official website of Telangana Board was not functioning smoothly. Apart from the official website of BIE, the Telangana Inter results 2018 have also been declared on other third-party portals such as manabadi.co.in, examresults.net. It is important to note that the first year students who are not satisfied with their result can apply for supplementary exam the schedule for which shall be announced soon.

Nearly 9.63 lakh candidates appeared for both first and second year examinations this year. The TS Inter 1st year exams were held from February 28 to March 17, while the Inter 2nd year exams commenced from March 1 and continued till March 19, 2018 at around 1,294 centres. Medchal district tops in both AP Intermediate 1st and 2nd Year Examinations 2018.
