The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu is set to announce its Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 results tomorrow, May 23. The candidates must keep their admit card handy in order to check their scores online. To access their TN SSLC class 10 exam results; students should login at tnresults.nic.in with their registration number and date of birth. The Tamil Nadu SSLC results 2018 will be announced tomorrow at 9:30 am on DGE’s official websites; tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in. Students across the state of Tamil Nadu sat for class 10th board exams from April 16 to April 23 at various centres.
In a major step, the DGE Tamil Nadu has decided not to release the toppers list or first three rankers as they believe that it discourages the competitiveness among the students. The School Education Minister, K.A. Sengottaiyan was quoted in an earlier report saying, “CBSE is already following this, and why because other students who get even one mark less (than the rank holders) face severe stress. The practice of announcing the first three rank holders at the state and district level is being done away with.” Looking at past instances, the official website might take time to respond in which case, students can check their scores from other third-party websites such as examresults.net and indiaresults.com.
